The Infernus Gateway was a Huge living storm that roamed the planet Droma and was an anomaly of the Dark Side of The Force. It was the gateway to the Sovereign Kingdom within the planet. Only the greatest Sith knew how to enter and survive reaching the epicentre, to gain access to the Sith Super Weapon. The centre of the Storm was a huge sphere of pure energy, lethal to anyone who did not know how to enter. Within was a capsule and a doorway straight into the hellish world in the core, where the Sovereign Kingdom was located. The Storm was well over 40,000 miles in length, and took may forms, including tornadoes, hurricanes, rapids, floods, maelstroms, hail, debris collisions, thunderstorms and random explosions and warping areas.
