While Sara Pezzini (Witchbalde) and Jackie Estacado (The Darkness) are waking from their joined nightmare in a space craft orbiting Earth, owned by Witchblade's arch nemesis Kenneth Irons, Sister Midnight was breaching the hull of this space craft in an attempt to stop an alien invasion on Earth. However, when she and her comrades attempted to board Irons' ship, automated defenses blew her comrades away while she herself just barely managed to sneak on-board with her life.
