The original Random Kingdom, developed between abda? and xyda?. Although not the first storyline developed by Demiurge, it was the first to be conceptualized as an RPG. Originally inspired by the ARPG, Random Kingdom later took heavy inspiration from Final Fantasy VII, but remained relatively free of influence from Grandia II and Final Fantasy VIII, which came to heavily influence subsequent RPGs. Random Kingdom follows a small group of protagonists from different backgrounds on their quest to oppose the RuneTech Corporation world government, and eventually, the demi-god Wang. Random Kingdom, to this date, has never been released as a RPG Maker game and remains a pen-and-paper-only system.
