Esshai was a male Selkath who lived on the planet Manaan during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Holding the role of "Transporter," Esshai was one of those responsible for overseeing departures from the Mercantile Plaza on Manaan. Imperial-allied individuals could not travel below the surface without Esshai's authorization.
