Yeager then sponsored boxer Marcus King in becoming the Heavyweight Champion of Gotham City. Following the tournament, he exchanged threats with fellow gangster, Leo Brodin. Following King's murder, Yeager was suspected of killing Brodin's boxer, Bull Bersagilio. Both Yeager and Brodin then agreed to a meeting to discuss these murders and who was responsible. However, both he and Brodin were then killed by the Predator, who wanted Batman's attention.
