Songstress was a Sphinxian treecat and a memory singer of the Bright Water Clan. As one of her clan's senior elders, she was part of the council that decided wether Nimitz and Samantha should take a number of 'cats with them to settle on Grayson. (HHA3.4: CoW) She was also a cousin of Nimitz and Sharp Nose. (HHA6.4: TBLP)
