Hugh J. Magnate Jr. is the primary antagonist of the first live-action Fairly OddParents movie, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! He is an oil tycoon who had a bad childhood because his father never allowed him to do any childish activity. At the time of the movie's events, he plans to tear down the Dimmsdale Dogwood tree and the surrounding park to build an oil well, but his plan is foiled by Timmy Turner and his fairies. After learning that Timmy was responsible for foiling his plot, Magnate teams up with Denzel Crocker to kidnap Timmy's fairies, to use for his own maniacal ambitions. He also kidnaps Tootie to use as bait, but is foiled again by Timmy and eventually thrown into an asylum.
