Kanou's Underground Laboratory is a hidden lab located beneath the Yasuhisa Mansion and is property of the CCG. Akihiro Kanou worked there in secret for a lengthily, but non-estimated, period of time performing grotesque human-ghoul experiments. For the laboratory to be built, the Yasuhisa Mansion was given to the CCG in exchange for the the owner's debt relief. The lab was infiltrated by Ken Kaneki with his crew and the CCG.
