Jennifer Moon was elected to Parliament in 2866. Her husband, Horace, was elected four years earlier. Despite living in a constituency that wouldn't normally vote SDP, Moon was easily reelected. On May 1, 2867, Moon and Mark Gold won the party leadership elections. However, they were not elected President and Vice President until six years later.
