Dac anchovies were a species of edible fish native to the planet Dac where they were cooked and eaten by the native sentient Mon Calamari species. During his travels of the galaxy, the Besalisk chef Dexter Jettster visited Dac and tried Dac anchovies, although he discovered he was allergic to them. Dexter later mentioned his intolerance of the fish, and the Mon Calamari who cooked them, in the introduction of his menu at Dex's Diner, an eatery he owned on the planet Coruscant.
