The Genie of the Lamp is the powerful genie trapped inside a lamp and discovered during Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp. He is much more powerful and fearsome than the first genie, who is trapped inside a ring. He is sometimes described as a Marid, the most powerful type of jinn.
