Drune Omek was a male Cardassian who lived in the 24th century. In the 2370s, Omek was a doctor in the Obsidian Order. After the Order collapsed in 2371, Omek and Strell Vekeer disappeared from sight. However, by 2373, Omek and Vekeer had begun conducting horrific experiments on Jem'Hadar in the Grennokar facility on Harkoum. These included cutting into the Jem'Hadar's skulls and watching them die slowly or quickly, as well as through seizures. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)
