The Automated Satellite Interdiction Network was placed in orbit of Mars by the Coalition for Neural Purity in an effort to blockade the Conjoiners on the surface. Designed in large part by Nevil Clavain, the system was overseen by Deimos, and incorporated magnetic railguns with automated targeting systems. From its construction in 2190 to 2205 -- when Galiana staged her mass breakout -- not a single ship managed to circumvent the network and land or take-off from Mars.
