The Ogriand-class Frigate is a vessel used exclusively by the House of Muir and the Muir Corporation Navy. It is a light warship and is not meant for dedicated ship-to-ship combat. It, in essence, provides a similar role to the Carrack-class Cruiser, and as such has been utilized by various Territories and Systems for their personal militia's. Clearly designed by someone with the Muir mindset, the ship has a variety of different weaponry that when used together, allow it to fulfill it's role very well. A grouping of these could work together well to take down a ship much larger than it, but for the most part, it is used for inspection duty, patrolling, and for light combat with pirates or criminals on the run from law enforcement.
