"Sitting on an Egg" is a song from the Elmo the Musical segment, "Bird the Musical." Elmo-Bird sings, bored as he sits on Mama Bird's egg while she goes out. Other birds invite him to play, but Elmo-Bird resigns to sitting on the egg. Another bird shows him a dance he can do while sitting in the nest, but they end up rocking the egg out of the nest and into the country.
