The Consortium was a religious organisation which was active during the late 20th century, being the most recent incarnation of a cult founded by the dark wizard Herpo the Foul during the period of ancient Greece. It was commanded by a man known as the Professor, although its official leader was the Eternal Queen. The main purpose of the Consortium was to resurrect the Eternal Queen by any means necessary, and to obey any and all of her commands.
