Pranos was a Genii and a military officer working with Commander Acastus Kolya. He went to see Kolya while he was training to inform him that Major John Sheppard's team was searching for the Potentia on Dagan. He later accompanied Kolya to Dagan to keep an eye on them. When they found the chamber of the Quindosim and took Sheppard's team captive, Pranos was the first to place his hands on the device to retrieved the Potentia, but the configuration of the stones was incorrect and he was killed.
