Beta Lyrae was the primary of the Beta Lyrae system, located 142° NE of the galactic plane. Beta Lyrae was known as one of the rare beautiful spectacles of the Milky Way Galaxy and almost every starship that passed by stop to see it. Beta Lyrae was located between Kzin and Starbase 25.
