Qedai Sherum was the daughter of Twi'lek Elite Guardians Kacheen and Daara Sherum. A talented Force-sensitive in her own right, Qedai was raised as a proud heir to her mother's Zeison Sha heritage. She was a renowned athlete and known for her skill in telekinesis and combat. Both sides completed their mutual withdrawal, and though the battle did not have the strategic impact that the Yanibar Guard had hoped for, the Battle of Rishi was a costly stalemate for the Yuuzhan Vong. However, Yanibar's people were forced to begin preparation for a large-scale evacuation.
