The Cosmic Fish are aliens who appear to Gonzo in Muppets from Space and tell him that his people have been searching for him. Gonzo is instructed to mow a message into the lawn that can be seen from space. Unfortunately, Rentro and the people at C.O.V.N.E.T. discover Gonzo's message and abduct him. As a result of the lightning strike that put Gonzo into contact with the Cosmic Knowledge Fish, Gonzo's body gets burned and blackened. They claim to be "Highly-evolved beings."
