Nar Hypa was the barren and desolate desert moon of Mataou located in the Mataou system, Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Long before the Galactic Civil War, Nar Hypa served as a trading hub and spaceport for the Hutts. During the Age of the Empire, the Galactic Empire took control of the sector and re-purposed Nar Hypa to store cargo and goods confiscated from smugglers and outlaws.
