Shianna was a Haliian and the sister of Starfleet officer Aquiel Uhnari. Shianna and her sister were very close to each other and Aquiel told her things she told nobody else. In 2369, Aquiel sent several messages from on board Relay Station 47 to her sister, in which she talked about her dreams about their mother's house, her new colleague Keith Rocha, her fear of their father, and her regret she couldn't be present to sing the Horath at the Batarael. (TNG: "Aquiel" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue. The Star Trek Encyclopedia spells her name as "Shiana".
