Rappi is a 1-day grow vegetable which was released on July 14, 2010 as part of the Swiss Alps Event. Though rolled out as a "Swiss" vegetable, it is not particularly associated with Switzerland. Rather, it is believed to have either a Chinese or Mediterranean origin, is currently grown all over the world, and is a common part of the Sicilian diet. In the real world, it was more commonly known by any one of a number of Italian names, including: rape-seed, rapini, broccoletti, broccoli di rape or friarielli. It is also used to make canola oil.
