The elder brother of Michelan Rugner and therefore uncle to Barbarossa Rugner. Despite his status at the eldest son of Kranach Rugner, Karnach's dying wish was that Michelan be chosen as the successor and Emperor of the Scarlet Moon Empire, robbing Geil of what could be considered his rightful honour. Geil was born as Georg Rugner, but later had it changed to Geil as it was more favourable from an astrological perspective. Although he was known throughout the nation as Geil Rugner, close friends and generals of Geil often called him Georg.
