As its name suggests, the Leidias Family Holocron was created unknown ages ago to record the wisdom and deeds of the Leidias Family. It isn't certain how long ago it was made, but estimates place its age at anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 years old and perhaps more. The holocron became an important family relic for the Leidias family and was usually entrusted to the head of the family or another member of note whose duty it would be to record the family 's history. It’s said that the holocron possesses unlimited storage space, but even if that’s untrue, no known limit has yet been reached in the ancient device despite it having hundreds upon hundreds of gatekeepers.
