Scoomba is a sub-species of Goomba that first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. VR. They are blue Goombas (possibly Gloombas) that can swim underwater. They can follow Mario in water, but are just as fast as normal Goombas in land. They wear blue masks and snorkels, resembling divers.
