Nathan Rutgers was a human male active as a Federation Starfleet non-commissioned officer in the early 25th century. He held a botany specialist rating. In 2409 he held the rank of chief petty officer and was stationed aboard the USS Bajor. He was killed along with three other crew members when Bajor suffered a hull breach from an Orion torpedo attack over Dreon VII.
