In Welsh mythology, Cad Goddeau (English: Battle of the Trees) is a battle between Arawn and Bran in Annwn, and Amaethon and Gwydion in the living world. Amaethon steals Arawn’s white deer and dog from Annwn. Gwydion enchants an army of trees to fight for him and is able to guess Bran’s identity.
