Xander Akagi is the son of Alex and Emma Akagi. Extremely intelligent, Xander began work at his father's company (Dakara Systems) on an Artificial intelligence program that he called Emma in honor of his mother. Xander's intelligence put some strain on his relationship with his father and, at times, Alex found it difficult to relate to his son.
