David Falkner died when his F-16 fighter jet became disabled while investigating the arrival of the Visitors, as a result of electronic countermeasures by the visiting Mothership. his plane crashed into the ground and was going to kill Ryan Nichols however luckily ryan made it out of the planes way David is survived by his wife, Mary. His death, provoked his wife's hatred against the Visitors, and to become the center piece for the Anti-Visitor Protest Movement.
