Silverware was a term for cutlery, usually made out of silver or another fine metal. According to Mess officer Briel, chairs were among the objects on the USS Enterprise that had apparently enlarged while the ship was orbiting the planet Cepheus in 2269. (TAS: "The Terratin Incident") In 2369, in response to an influx of Ferengi ships, Kira Nerys mockingly advised Benjamin Sisko to lock up the silverware. (DS9: "The Nagus")
