The first transmission is an invitation for students to enter the Vesalius Programme at the Haeckel Institute of Xenobiological Science. It was sent by Dr. Catherine Halsey under the pseudonym of Caroline Evelyn Hollice, to Sir William Stephen Godfrey, the faculty dean of Rishard University Physical and Applied Sciences. In truth the invitation was a ruse to induct capable minds which could assist Dr. Halsey during the augmentation procedures of the SPARTAN-II Program. It was posted on Halo Waypoint on the 2nd January 2019.
