The Battle of Klach D'Kel Brakt (or Briar Patch conflict) was a battle between the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire in 2271. Kor, commanding the IKS Korvat was considered the hero of Klach D'Kel Bracht for his actions in the battle. (TOS novel: Excelsior: Forged in Fire) In 2370, Kor spent three hours recreating the Battle of Klach D'Kel Brakt in one of Quark's holosuites on Deep Space 9, as he was determined to win.
