Carolowilhelmina is an extinct genus of arthrodire placoderm fish that lived in Late Eifelian (Middle Devonian) of Spain. It appears a long-snouted and toothless pelagic fish, very similar to Australian Rolfosteus, from Gogo Formation. Alike Rolfosteus Carolowilhelmina showed a long tubular rostral plate, with small postnasal plates and low toothless inferognathal ones. This placoderm genus might have lived in pelagic environment with lush of algae and epiplancton, according to Mark-Kurik & Carls (2002).
