Deepak is a Golden Path member and/or sympathizer that was arrested and tortured to death by Paul "De Pleur" Harmon. His body was found by his comrades on the side of a road. His death is mentioned during a Golden Path armed escort side mission gained by rerouting control of a radio tower in South Kyrat. Mention of his death can be heard from Pranav, a Golden Path member, after finishing the escort mission. Achal, hearing this, responds by saying "I should have done something", but is reassured that there was nothing that he could have done.
