The Mek'Oro are an alien race. They're vaguely humanoid but with longer arms and backwards-bending knees. Traditionally, Mek'Oro have tattoos on their chests formed by nanobot "ink", which can slowly move beneath the skin over time - creating an animated tattoo. The attacked and boarded the SS Ancora, before being driven off. (Comic: "Ship of Exploration")
