Rhyndakos was the god of the River Rhyndakos which flowed through Mount Didymos in eastern Mysia (a region of north-western Anatolia). is an important small Asian river that today in its course It rises on the northern slope of of what is now known as Murat Daği in Phrgia It flows in a northwesterly direction through Mysia south on Mysian Olympus past, then north turned by the Artyniasee (Lake Uluabat) takes in Miletopolis (Muhalitsch?) The Makestos (today simav river) and flows into the Sea of Marmara.
