Japanese-Asian cards are Japanese cards produced and intended to be sold in Asian countries outside Japan. They are commony abbreviated JA, but listed as JP in card set number. JA and JP cards differ in quality. On higher rarty (Secret Rare), the foil pattern also differs: JA's would be horizontal and JP would be vertical. In OCG tournaments outside JP. The player must use a deck composed of only JA cards if those cards are Japanese. The only exception is if a card is a JP product exclusive.
