Gul Tulet was a member of the Cardassian military who participated in the sport of boxing. At some point before 2371, he fought a boxer named Price Jones in a twenty-three round match, with Tulet’s defeat becoming known as “The Knockout in the Neutral Zone”. Chakotay, who witnessed the fight, said that it was “the best match” he ever saw.
