The SAAV-6 was armed with 2 heavy cannons as well as 3 lighter cannons and a twin machinegun turret, making it one of the most heavily armed vehicles of its time. Its armor was thicker then the SAAV-4 but could still be penetrated by the cannon of the Drakuv-class assault tank. It was also much slower then most tanks and thus was easy fodder for aircraft. Another limitation was its cost, due to the large amount of materials needed to produce it as well as the large amounts of fuel it required. Due to this it could only be made it limited numbers and usally needed to be paired with SMMV-A11s for protection against air attack.
