Vise was a Human male who served as an ensign in the Republic Army during the Cold War. Assigned to Search and Rescue Squad 204 on the planet Taris, Vise served under Sergeant Elara Dorne. When the squad showed up to rescue captured Republic soldiers from the Fallenspire Stronghold on Taris, Elara ordered Vise to tend to the wounded.
