Duskwood is a rare magic wood that is as hard as normal wood but very light. Any wooden or mostly wooden item made from duskwood weighs only 40% (for weapons) to 60% (for shields) as much as a normal wooden item of that type. Items not normally made of wood or only partially of wood cannot be made from duskwood. For weapons, in addition to 40% weight reduction, bows gain Mighty +6, crossbows gain attack bonus +3, and staves inflict +1 magical damage.
