The Left Probe is a boss in Final Fantasy VIII. It forms a part of Mobile Type 8 and operates as a separate target. It will use Homing Laser if attacked when Support mode is on, and Twin Homing Laser if Mobile Type 8 is attacked when Mobile mode is on, but only if the Right Probe is also alive.
