Gweemo was a male Ferengi, and the owner of Gweemo's Lobemaster, a company which sold ear-hair trimmers. The Lobemaster was initially a failure, and nearly brought Gweemo to bankruptcy. The company's fortunes turned around when Gweemo's nephew, Squim, came up with a new slogan: "Keep Your Ears Open. Use Gweem's Lobemaster." This became the most successful advertising campaign in Ferengi history, and was later immortalized when Grand Nagus Drik made "Keep your ears open" the seventh Rule of Acquisition, following a sizable compensation from Gweemo.
