Lingering Spirits are enemies in Mother 3. In battle they look like a simple flame. They can be found in Osohe Castle when Duster and Wess enter the castle together and eventually group up with Kumatora. Compared to the other enemies that can be encountered at the same time, they have relatively low health but a very high defense. Being a flame, PK Freeze is an effective weapon against them, and usually is a one-hit KO. Its battle sound is Battle Sound 36 which falls under Code Numbers 867 for regular attack, 868 for Smaaaash! and 869 for Miss.
