Stephen O'Neill is a New Zealand actor who played a Laketown man in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and has reprised his role for its sequel, The Battle of the Five Armies (BO5A). He lives in Wellington NZ. He has just resumed his Acting career after long period of doing his other trade as a Boilermaker. He did over 40 days as an extra on both The Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of Five Armies (2012-13) . He loves being on set and was even able to get Carolynne Cunningham to laugh (on one occasion) between takes. His acting has now taken him back to both the Theatre and Film.
