In 1980 he worked as production assistant on the comedy Falling in Love Again, then as associate film editor on the television drama Heart of Steel (1983), and as assistant editor on the comedy Secret Admirer (1985), Robert Redford's drama The Milagro Beanfield War (1988), the fantasy comedy Encino Man (1992), the television drama series 2000 Malibu Road (1992), and the comedy Heavy Weights (1995). As editor he worked on the television series The Unit (2006-2007, starring Abby Brammell).
