Major Byrne was a recurring character in the second season. She was portrayed by Kendall Cross and debuted in the first episode of Season Two. Member of the Ark's guard. She was Captain of Marcus Kane's guard at Camp Jaha. She was killed while protecting Clarke by a mutated gorilla, Pauna, at the ruins of the National Zoo.
