Veja Ketan was a female Cardassian who lived in the 24th century. Ketan was a member of the Cardassian Information Service and was engaged to Corat Damar in the 2340s. In 2348, Ketan and her friend Natima Lang were taken captive by Aro Seefa. Ketan was injured when Aro's weapon discharged and brought debris crashing down onto her during their captivity. Aro would help Lang to take Ketan to safety, but was killed by the Cardassian troops led by Damar. Veja was treated for her injuries, but a Cardassian doctor discovered that she would be unable to have children. Due to this, Damar called off their engagement.
