Boss Ant is an enemy within Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. In Old Waste Shaft 6F, there is a room full of Worker Ants. Killing them will trigger a Danger Room; the doors will be sealed and the gigantic Boss Ant will seek vengeance on its fallen brethren. It is recommended to wear it down with bombs and other traps before engaging in combat mode. The Boss Ant uses Fireblast, a fire-based spell with an area of effect that can be devastating if the party is clustered together. It can also disable party members by casting Sleep. It has some resistance against fire attacks, fairly vulnerable all stat reductions and some status conditions as well.
